Lesley Illingworth is a mixed-media painter and textile artist specializing in hand embroidery. She has a BA (Hons) in Hand Embroidery for Fashion, Interiors, and Textile Art from The Royal School of Needlework and the University of the Creative Arts. Her Interests are Textile Fine Art, Disability, and Activist Art. She is a member of the Society of Embroidery Works and The Working Class Creatives Database. As a Disabled Artists, she is a blogger for Disability Arts Online. She is on the list of makers for Disability Arts Online and Outside In.
